The apartments Brubnjak are situated in Medveja, a small but beautiful village on the Opatija Riviera.

Medveja is located in the vicinity of Lovran, under the slopes of the nature park Učka. An old legend says that Medveja has been named after Medea, a greek mythological heroine, after she found shelter here with Jason. According to the same legend, the underground streams that flow from mount Učka to Medveja are Medea's tears. Medveja is widely known for its beautiful pebble beach which is located in one of the most wonderful bays of the Adriatic sea.

During winter time Medveja is home for around one hundred inhabitants, but during summer season that number increases thanks to lots of tourists that come to this beautiful village every year. It is the ideal resort for all those who are in search of the intact nature and peace, for those who want to lay on the beach the whole day, but also for those of you who are more adventurous and are willing to walk the whole route that leads from Medveja directly to Lovranska Draga  from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole Kvarner Bay. For all the mentioned reasons Medveja is the ideal holiday resort not only in summer months but all year round.

The apartments Brubnjak are located in the center of Medveja, on the main road and only 20 meters from the beach. From our terraces you can admire a breathtaking view of the beach, the small fishermen port and the Kvarner Bay. Our family has been in tourism business for over 40 years. We have 4 accomodation units: 2 apartments that are located on the ground floor of the house and 2 rooms that are on the second floor. Apart from accomodation we also offer you the use of the barbecue that is situated in the backyard. Also, with previous agreement, we can organize for you a trip in some of the sights mentioned in the "where are we" area. Your pets are welcome in our apartments, also with prior notice. We have a fenced parking place in front of the house.

We will be happy to talk to you in some of the following languages: croatian, all ex-yu languages, english, german, italian and spanish. But, with your help, we will try to speak any other language.
